Company Description
On December 18, 2005, China Harbour Engineering (Group) Company (China’s Largest Marine Construction Company) and China Road and Bridge Corporation (China’s Largest Road and Bridge Construction Company) were merged by consolidation in a way of win-win partnership to form a new company—China Communications Construction Group, which inherits all the businesses and assets of the above companies.
On December 15, 2006, CCCC’s H shares were listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in its IPO and it has become the first super-large stated-owned infrastructure enterprise entering the overseas capital market. CCCC’s stoke code is 1800.HK with a total capital of 14,825 million shares.
On March 9, 2012, CCCC’s launched its IPO of A shares on the Main Board of Shanghai Stock Exchange. Its stock code is 601800.SS with a total capital of 16,175 million shares.
Founded in 1980, China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. (CHEC) is a subsidiary of China Communications Construction Company Ltd (CCCC). CHEC has been mainly developing and operating the oversea business on behalf of CCCC. Currently, CHEC has more than 80 oversea branches and representative offices have a global foot print in over 90 countries with a human resource strength of more than 15,000, CHEC’s 2018 turnover is about 10 Billion USD.
Providing full scope of services in relation to Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) Contracts, Build Operate Transfer (BOT) Contracts and Public Private Partnership (PPP) Contracts for both public and private sectors.
CHEC entered Vietnam and started market development in 2002.
CHEC Vietnam Representative Office was registrated in 2004 with 12 projects completion or under construction from that time to now.
