- Build flexible, scalable joint hierarchies based on character and prop topology.
- Develop and maintain modular rig systems for body, face, and outfits.
- Set up control rigs with clean UIs for animators (FK/IK systems, space switching, etc.).
- Implement cloth and accessory rigging with simulation-ready setups
- Perform accurate skinning to ensure the model deforms correctly with the rig.
- Execute facial rigging and skinning for expressive performance.
- Rig clothing, including setups for simulated secondary motion.
- Design, optimize, and maintain stable rigging systems in Autodesk Maya and Unreal Engine.
- Ensure rigs are animator-friendly and support production requirements.
Portfolio submission is mandatory, including:
- Video showcasing rig functionality
- Sample rig files
Requirement
- Male/Female, Under 36 years old
- College degree or higher in a relevant field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Rigging or as a Technical Artist.
- Strong understanding of animation workflows and techniques.
- Proficient in Autodesk Maya (3ds Max knowledge is a plus).
- Experience with Python scripting for rigging or automation.
- Hands-on experience with Unreal Engine is preferred.
