Job Description
-
Provide technical consultancy for SMT production lines, including process design, technology improvement, and troubleshooting of complex technical issues.
-
Support engineers in setting up, calibrating, and optimizing SMT equipment such as pick & place machines, solder paste printers, reflow ovens, SPI, AOI.
-
Propose solutions to improve efficiency, reduce defects, enhance product quality, and optimize production costs.
-
Conduct root cause analysis of production defects and propose corrective and preventive actions.
-
Advise on equipment, technology, and materials selection during line expansion or upgrades.
-
Manage technical issues and drive evaluations for equipment and technology selection.
-
Provide guidance and advanced technical training for engineers.
-
Participate in technology transformation, automation, and quality control improvement projects within SMT.
-
Develop technical documents, operating standards, and training materials.
-
Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards; supervise process control and quality data statistics (SPC, CPK).

Support supplier evaluation and incoming material quality control.
Requirement
-
Male, 32-40 years old
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields.
-
At least 5 years of hands-on experience in SMT Engineering within electronics manufacturing.

Strong knowledge of SMT processes, IPC standards (IPC-A-610), and automation systems.
-
Proficient in using quality tools such as SPC, FMEA, 5WHY, 8D.
-
Good command of English, equivalent to TOEIC 650+, to communicate effectively with customers.
-
Experience working with equipment from Fuji, Panasonic, Yamaha, Senju, Kohyoung, TRI, etc. is a strong advantage.

Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset (Kaizen), strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
