Job Description
Our client is a Vietnamese company, now looking for a Senior Garment Technical Manager (Open for locals and expats, $5000, ID14821):
- Meet with customers and CSP to determine fit preferences and pattern requirements, style preferences, garment construction preferences, and sewing needs
- Work with clients and make suggestions to continuously enhance fit and quality through pattern-related adjustments
- Planning, organizing and monitoring the sample-making process to ensure timely production
- Work closely with other related teams, such as the Folder Technician, Mechanics and Industrial Engineering teams to create new folders and work aids to reduce SMV and improve quality.
- Ensure the product requirements and specifications from Sales & Customer Service, Lab, and customers for offering technical advise on sewing processes in order to meet the customer's expectations
- Organize preproduction meetings, create operation breakdowns, and train production operators before production begins.
- Collaborate with Sewing Garment Technologist Supervisors and Sewing Garment Technologist to provide technical guidance for problems that arise throughout the bulk manufacturing process.
- Review the production performance with the technical team after product delivery to facilitate future methods improvement
Requirement
- Male/ Female. 35-45 years old
- Graduated from University majoring in related garment major
- Have 5-7 years or more of experience working as a Technical Manager for a garment factory.
- Fluent in English (4 skills)
