Job Description

Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Sample Technical Manager (Garment, 1500$, ID 19425)
  • Manage and supervise the sample sewing team to ensure samples are made accurately and delivered on time.
  • Review Tech Packs, Specifications, and Patterns to identify suitable construction methods and detect potential issues.
  • Provide technical guidance on jacket and vest sewing techniques, including lining, fusing, shoulder pad construction, and pressing standards.
  • Communicate in English with customers’ technical or merchandising teams to clarify requirements and resolve sample-related issues.
  • Collaborate with Pattern, IE, QA, and Production teams to standardize sewing methods for bulk production.
  • Train and develop sample sewers and technicians to enhance technical skills and workmanship quality.
  • Attend pre-production meetings and ensure technical readiness for mass production.

Requirement

  • Gender: Male/Female, Age: Under 45 years old
  • College or University degree in Garment Technology, Fashion Design, or related field
  • Have 3 years of experience as a Sample Room Supervisor or Technical Manager for vest or blazer lining products in the high-fashion segment; Strong sewing skills; able to perform manual sewing.
  • Fluent in Gerber software
  • Good at English
