Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Head of Manufacturing Supply Chain (Chinese & English speaking, Open to Vietnamese & Expats, $4.000, ID 21177):
- Procurement & Contract Governance: Oversee the sourcing of raw materials and corporate services; lead commercial contract negotiations and strengthen relationships with regional suppliers and strategic vendors.
- Vendor Management: Focus predominantly on maintaining and optimizing engagement with the company’s existing vendor base, with occasional responsibilities in researching and onboarding new suppliers.
- Strategic Planning: Formulate and execute long-term strategic plans for the supply chain, ensuring alignment with global corporate objectives.
- Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and improve supply chain workflows to maximize operational efficiency and achieve cost reduction.
- Market Intelligence & Crisis Management: Act as the central "control tower" to gather, analyze, and update market information; proactively flag and mitigate potential risks regarding material costs and delivery timelines.
Requirement
- Male or Female; Under 45 years old.
- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is strictly required.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in Supply Chain operations.
- A minimum of 5 years in a dedicated managerial or leadership capacity.
- Preference will be given to candidates with extensive experience in large-scale manufacturing plants.
- Mandatory proficiency in utilizing ERP systems.
- Language Proficiency:
- English: Proficient.
- Chinese: Fluent in both verbal and written communication.
