Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Receiving Clerk (Hospitality):
- Receive all deliveries and verify that the items match purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes.
- Inspect goods for damage, spoilage, or discrepancies and report any issues to the Purchasing Manager.
- Ensure proper documentation and recordkeeping of all incoming items.
- Accurately label and store received items in appropriate storage areas, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Coordinate with the purchasing and accounting departments to resolve invoice and delivery issues.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and safety standards in receiving and storage areas.
- Assist in stock rotation, inventory counts, and disposal of expired or damaged items.
- Ensure that all perishable items are stored according to food safety and HACCP standards.
- Comply with internal control procedures, company policies, and local regulations.
- Support audits and assist with inventory reconciliation as required.
Requirement
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in supply chain or hospitality is a plus.
- 2-3 years of experience in receiving, warehouse, or storekeeping roles, preferably in hospitality or food & beverage operations.
- Basic knowledge of inventory systems, documentation, and inspection processes.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
- Familiar with hygiene and safety standards in hospitality operations.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel or inventory software.
- Basic English communication skills.
