Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a R&D Engineer (Plastic, S1500, ID19417)

- Lead research and development of modified plastic materials, including formulation design, process optimization, and performance validation.
- Adjust key material properties—such as reinforcement, flame retardancy, and heat resistance—according to client specifications in the automotive, home appliance, and electronics sectors.
- Conduct experiments to verify formulation feasibility and performance consistency.
- Design and refine production formulation systems and process flows.
- Proficient in adjusting equipment parameters (e.g., twin-screw extruders) to ensure efficient and stable production.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to rheological behavior, crystallization, and material stability.
- Scale up laboratory formulations to industrial production while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.
- Enhance the performance of existing products—such as strength, toughness, and weather resistance—through formulation and process modifications.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including inspection standards and operating procedures, to ensure consistent production quality.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Provide technical consultations, material recommendations, and failure analysis solutions to clients.
- Work closely with the sales team to resolve production-related issues and represent the company in trade shows and technical exchange events.
- Plan and manage R&D projects, allocate resources, and oversee progress to meet project milestones.
- Prepare technical documentation and intellectual property filings.
- Utilize experimental design and data analysis techniques to support continuous innovation and product advancement.
Requirement
- Male under 35 years old
- Education: Master’s degree, PhD, or higher in Polymer Science and Engineering, Polymer Chemistry and Physics, Polymer Technology, Polymer Engineering, or Chemical Engineering and Technology.
- Languages: Proficient in English or Chinese for technical communication and documentation.
- Experience: 1–5 years of experience as an R&D Engineer in the plastics or plastic resin industry, with hands-on expertise in material formulation, process optimization, and performance testing.
