Job Description
Dream Job Alert! Become a QC Supervisor (Mechanical, ID 21185) at a foreign-invested company and earn $1000/month:
- Directly issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) upon detecting defects or anomalies during key stages: material receiving, production, internal quality control, and product packaging/crating.
- Receive, respond to, and handle NCRs issued by clients; promptly escalate critical issues to the Deputy General Manager (DGM) for further instructions and strategic guidance.
- Closely supervise the fabrication and manufacturing processes to ensure strict adherence to product quality standards.
- Monitor and oversee welding procedures as well as periodic welder qualification tests (WQT); strictly control the weld defect rate at the workshop.
- Supervise pressure testing during piping spools fabrication and oversee Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) activities performed by subcontractors.
- Take photographs, document notes, and maintain comprehensive records of product information and technical data post-production.
- Control the quality of incoming materials; inspect product quality after the galvanizing process and supervise re-galvanizing/touch-up work (if any).
- Control and minimize errors during material sorting and galvanizing touch-ups prior to packaging; oversee the entire process of packing, crating, and container stuffing.
- Prepare First Article Inspection (FAI) reports for projects.
- Proactively develop, share, and contribute ideas to optimize and improve manufacturing and quality control processes whenever inefficiencies or irrationalities are identified.
- Gather feedback from other departments and closely monitor shop-floor workforce morale to propose timely adjustments for a safer, more efficient working environment.
Requirement
- Male, under 40 years old.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Welding Engineering, or related manufacturing majors.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience, including at least 2 years in an equivalent position within heavy mechanical fabrication companies. Hands-on experience and comprehensive knowledge of welding are mandatory.
- Proficient in using specialized engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Tekla, etc.
- Fluent in English.
