Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a QA Manager (Garment, $2100, ID19847)
- Attend pre-production meetings to understand quality standards and critical requirements for new styles.
- Conduct training and promote quality awareness within the Quality Assurance department.
- Improve product quality by enhancing the Right First Time (RFT) rate.
- Ensure samples are submitted on time for buyer approval and achieve first-pass acceptance.
- Comply with quality and product safety standards, daily inspection plans, and sample submission schedules.
- Monitor shipment schedules and maintain the required final inspection pass rate.
- Control departmental costs in line with the approved budget.
- Manage QA staff on sewing lines according to the production plan and resolve daily operational issues.
- Maintain a clean and efficient working environment; ensure adequate operational supplies, proper documentation, and conduct Gemba walks to improve processes.
- Coordinate customer visits, monitor process quality, and arrange training activities to meet budget and forecast targets.
- Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS), ISO standards, brand protection requirements, mold control processes, and the RES.Q system.
- Control incoming material quality.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
Requirement
- Male or female, under 45 years old.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Fluent in English
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a QA Manager in the garment industry.
- Proven ability to manage 2–3 or more sub-factories.
- Willing to travel
