Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested manufacturing company, now looking for a QA Assistant Manager (Electronics, $1500, ID21173)
- Establish, implement, maintain, and continuously improve Quality Management Systems (QMS) in compliance with standards such as ISO 9001 and ANSI/ESD S20.20.
- Develop, review, update, and control quality documentation including policies, procedures, work instructions, standards, and records.
- Ensure organization-wide compliance with quality system requirements and applicable standards.
- Manage quality control activities across Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Outgoing Quality Control (OQC).
- Define and implement inspection criteria, control plans, and testing/inspection methodologies.
- Review and approve quality documents including First Article Inspection (FAI), PPAP, and Control Plans where applicable.
- Analyze product defects and nonconformities using quality tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and Pareto Analysis.
- Lead the implementation and follow-up of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) to ensure effective resolution of quality issues.
- Plan, organize, and conduct internal quality audits.
- Serve as the primary contact for customer audits, certification audits, and external regulatory assessments.
- Ensure timely closure and effectiveness of audit findings, corrective actions, and nonconformities.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, R&D, and other departments to resolve quality issues, improve manufacturing processes, and minimize defects and quality risks.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness throughout the organization.
- Work closely with Sales teams to understand customer quality requirements, specifications, and expectations for new products.
- Support quality planning, risk assessment, and quality assurance activities for New Product Introduction (NPI).
- Provide quality-related feedback during quotation review, sample submission, and pre-production stages.
- Coordinate with Engineering and Production teams to ensure customer requirements are accurately translated into manufacturing and inspection standards.
Requirement
- Male/Female, aged 30–40.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Quality Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related fields.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the electronics industry, including at least 2–3 years in a Quality Management or supervisory role.
- Experience working with customers and handling external audits.
- Proficient in English.
