Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Production Supervisor (Garment, $2000, ID21303)
- Supervise daily production activities to ensure production plans, quality standards, and delivery schedules are achieved.
- Monitor and control production processes to optimize productivity, efficiency, and resource utilization.
- Ensure all products comply with technical specifications, quality requirements, and customer standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to production teams on garment construction, sewing techniques, and process improvements.
- Coordinate closely with Quality, Planning, Merchandising, and Maintenance departments to resolve production issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Analyze production performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency.
- Train, coach, and evaluate production staff to enhance technical capabilities and operational performance.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and manufacturing procedures.
- Monitor production quality throughout the manufacturing process and take preventive actions to minimize defects.
- Prepare production reports and provide regular updates on production status, quality performance, and improvement initiatives.
Requirement
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Garment Technology, Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, or related fields.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in garment manufacturing, with supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of knitted garment construction, sewing techniques, and apparel production processes.
- Good understanding of quality requirements and production standards for Japanese customers and export markets.
- Strong knowledge of garment technical specifications, workmanship standards, and quality control systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English for daily work activities.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and production reporting.
