Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Production Director (Manufacturing, $3000, ID19502)
- Lead the setup of the factory, production lines, equipment, manpower, and operational processes from scratch.
- Develop and standardize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical specifications, and quality control processes for all production stages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transfer, test, and optimize production technology.
- Propose and select suitable machines, tools, and production management systems (MES, ERP, KPI tracking, etc.) based on production requirements.
- Develop short-, mid-, and long-term production plans based on order forecasts and production capacity.
- Manage productivity, quality, labor efficiency, material consumption, and waste ratios.
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety, 5S, and environmental standards across production areas.
- Coordinate with departments such as Procurement, Engineering, Warehouse, and Planning to ensure smooth material and product flow.
- Build and implement a performance evaluation framework (KPI, OEE, line efficiency, yield rate, etc.).
- Establish reporting, data analysis, and employee performance assessment systems for the production division.
- Initiate and drive continuous improvement programs (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma) to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.
- Recruit, train, and develop production staff, line leaders, and mid-level managers.
- Build a professional, disciplined, and performance-driven work culture.
Requirement
- Male, under 45 years old
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Industrial Management, Automation, or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in electronic component or assembly-line manufacturing, including at least 3 years in a senior management role (e.g., Manager or Director).
- In-depth knowledge of electronic component manufacturing processes, ISO standards, IPC, RoHS, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing.
- Proficient in English
