Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Development Specialist (Structural Products, $1400, ID17301)
- Product Improvement: Collaborate with relevant departments to test and approve product modifications. Resolve quality issues by identifying root causes and proposing solutions. Suggest improvements for cost reduction, quality enhancement, and regulatory compliance.
- New Product Development: Work with suppliers to source and evaluate samples, obtain customer feedback, and finalize designs. Create samples, manage documentation, and collaborate with teams for product testing. Handle local component development (aluminum bars, plastic parts, metal accessories, etc.) and support mass production tooling.
- Technical Documentation: Update and issue BOM, production guidelines, and customer-specific requirements to ensure product compliance.
- Customer Support: Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to address product inquiries and requests.
- Reporting: Provide regular project status updates and handle other assigned tasks.
Requirement
- Gender: Male/Female, Age: Under 40 years old
- Graduate from University, preference for majors in mechanical engineering, machinery, product design...
- Have 2 years of experience in product development and design, preferably in frames, doors, tents, and other structural products.
- Experience in working with mechanical component development, aluminum alloy extrusion, coating and plating, plastic molding, and metal stamping.
- Good at English
