Job Description

Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Product Design Engineer (Electrical, English, 500 USD, ID18048)
  • Design wire and cable products that meet customer, safety, and industry requirements.
  • Develop new cable designs ensuring performance, durability, and environmental resistance.
  • Select appropriate materials for conductors, insulation, jackets, and other components.
  • Use design software (e.g., AutoCAD) to create detailed technical drawings.
  • Test prototype cables to verify design accuracy and functional reliability.
  • Analyze test results and adjust designs as needed for improvement.
  • Run simulations to assess cable behavior under various physical and environmental conditions.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, sales, and suppliers to ensure feasible and cost-effective designs.
  • Ensure compliance with standards such as UL, RoHS, and stay updated with industry trends.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including specs, prototypes, and test reports.

Requirement

  • Male/Female, under 35 years old
  • Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Sciences or related
  • 2 years of experience as a cable design engineer in companies manufacturing electric cables, automobiles, or electrical equipment.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Good command in English
