Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Product Design Engineer (Electrical, English, 500 USD, ID18048)
- Design wire and cable products that meet customer, safety, and industry requirements.
- Develop new cable designs ensuring performance, durability, and environmental resistance.
- Select appropriate materials for conductors, insulation, jackets, and other components.
- Use design software (e.g., AutoCAD) to create detailed technical drawings.
- Test prototype cables to verify design accuracy and functional reliability.
- Analyze test results and adjust designs as needed for improvement.
- Run simulations to assess cable behavior under various physical and environmental conditions.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, sales, and suppliers to ensure feasible and cost-effective designs.
- Ensure compliance with standards such as UL, RoHS, and stay updated with industry trends.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including specs, prototypes, and test reports.
Requirement
- Male/Female, under 35 years old
- Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Sciences or related
- 2 years of experience as a cable design engineer in companies manufacturing electric cables, automobiles, or electrical equipment.
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Good command in English
