Dream Job Alert! Become a Painting Inspector (ID17881) at a foreign-invested company and earn $1300/month:
- Inspect surface preparation, painting, and coating applications following relevant standards (e.g., SSPC, ISO, NACE).
- Verify that painting materials (primers, topcoats, thinners, etc.) comply with the project specifications and the manufacturer's data sheets.
- Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, dew point) before and during application.
- Conduct and document inspection activities, including DFT (Dry Film Thickness), adhesion, holiday testing, and other relevant tests.
- Issue inspection reports and maintain accurate and complete records.
- Liaise with contractors, clients, and third-party inspectors to ensure coating quality compliance.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and per company HSE policies.
- Participate in quality audits and help identify areas for improvement.
Requirement
- Diploma or higher in Mechanical, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
- NACE Coating Inspector or FROSIO Inspector certification is mandatory.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in coating inspection, preferably in oil & gas, marine, or heavy industry projects.
- Good knowledge of international painting/coating standards and inspection techniques.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written); able to write inspection reports clearly.
