Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer ($1000, ID19914)

- Translate customer requirements and technical specifications into manufacturable mechanical design solutions.
- Develop project plans and ensure design activities are completed on schedule and within allocated budget.
- Evaluate design concepts in compliance with applicable industry standards, regulations, and technical requirements.
- Make appropriate technical decisions and proactively identify potential risks or process issues that may impact product performance or delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Sales, Engineering, Production, and international teams) to gather necessary technical inputs for product design.
- Align with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide technical support to the production team regarding design data, drawings, and documentation when required.
- Review and validate design solutions to ensure usability, cost efficiency, product quality, and environmental considerations.
- Continuously improve designs through feedback, testing results, and operational requirements.
- Establish verification checks to ensure product safety and compliance with quality standards.
- Follow company Code of Conduct and promptly report unsafe conditions or practices.
- Support root cause analysis, rework evaluation, and corrective actions for non-conforming or out-of-spec components.
- Prepare, maintain, and update product documentation packages for customers and internal use.
- Record design processes and maintain accurate engineering documentation.
- Provide regular progress updates and technical reports to management and stakeholders.
Requirement
- Male. Under 45 years old
- Bachelor’s degree in the mechanical field or a relevant field.
- Having 2-3 years of experience in an equivalent position within mechanical manufacturing environments, including mechanical engineering, mechanical fabrication, or automotive engineering industries.
- Strong CAD, SolidWorks, and drawing design software proficiency.
- Good at English
