Manufacturing Process Engineer (Wood)

Our client is a foreign-invested manufacturing company, now looking for a Manufacturing Process Engineer (Wood, $800, ID21666)
1. Drawing & BOM Management

• Create, update, revise, and confirm drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs) in accordance with approved samples for pilot runs and mass production.
• Create, update, revise, and confirm item codes based on requirements from relevant departments and in compliance with established procedures.

2. Process & Product Improvement

• Research, redesign, innovate, and improve existing products to reduce costs and enhance competitive advantages.
• Based on drawings, research, create, revise, and update standard routings for products.
• Collaborate with the Production team to research and develop the most effective methods for material and labor utilization.
• Based on standard processes, research, create, revise, and update standard cycle times for products.

3. Department Support & Workplace Standards

• Provide timely, accurate, and effective support to relevant departments.
• Properly implement and maintain 5S practices in the workplace.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Process Support Engineer.

• Male/Female. Under 40 years old. 

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural/Forestry Engineering, Technical Education, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Experience: At least 2 years of practical experience in a relevant technical role; candidates with experience in the wood processing or furniture manufacturing industry will be highly prioritized.

• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in computer-aided design tools, specifically AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

• Language Proficiency: Functional English skill set (capable of reading technical specs and conducting email communications effectively).
