Job Description

Industrial Engineering Manager (Garment) wanted for a foreign-invested company! $3000/month salary + opportunities to grow!
  • Lead the IE team to improve productivity, efficiency, and operational standards in sweater manufacturing.
  • Conduct time and motion studies, establish accurate SMVs, and maintain up-to-date operation bulletins for all sweater styles.
  • Plan and optimize manpower allocation, line balancing, and machine layout to meet daily production goals.
  • Coordinate with planning, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth style changes and minimal production disruptions.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to reduce cycle time and increase output.
  • Monitor performance metrics including line efficiency, machine utilization, output, and DHU, and take corrective actions where necessary.
  • Train and mentor IE staff and production supervisors on best practices and continuous improvement techniques.
  • Provide accurate SMV data to support product costing and order pricing.

Requirement

  • Male/Female, under 45 years old
  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Garment Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in the garment industry, preferably in sweater production.
  • Solid understanding of IE tools: SMV setting, line balancing, work-study, and factory layout planning.
  • Proficient in MS Excel; experience with AutoCAD, GSD, or other IE software is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in English (both written and verbal).
