Job Description

Our client is a foreign-invested manufacturing company, now looking for an Import–Export Cum Logistics Staff (Garment, $850, ID19821)

1. Import–Export Operations

  • Prepare and manage all import–export documentation including Contracts, Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading (B/L, AWB), Certificates of Origin (C/O), and other related documents.

  • Perform electronic customs declarations and monitor the customs clearance process.

  • Coordinate with forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers to handle shipment arrangements and resolve any arising issues.

  • Track shipment schedules for FOB / CM / OEM / ODM garment orders to ensure timely delivery.

  • Verify the accuracy of all shipping documents before submission to customers, banks, and shipping carriers.

  • Maintain and archive import–export documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

2. Logistics & Transportation

  • Plan and monitor international and domestic transportation activities.

  • Arrange vessel/air bookings and container transportation, and follow up on shipping schedules (ETA/ETD).

  • Coordinate with warehouse, production, and merchandising teams to ensure shipments meet delivery timelines.

  • Work with Merchandising and Warehouse departments to verify material consumption norms for customs declaration.

  • Monitor container status, sealing, and loading operations at the factory.

  • Control and review logistics costs including freight, THC, and other local charges.

  • Propose solutions to optimize transportation costs and delivery schedules.

  • Handle logistics issues such as shipment delays, documentation discrepancies, cargo holds, or vessel rollovers.

3. Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Warehouse, Production, and Accounting departments.

  • Prepare periodic reports including import–export reports, annual customs settlement reports, logistics cost reports, and shipment status reports.

  • Ensure compliance with import–export regulations, customs laws, tax regulations, and internal company policies.

Requirement

  • Male/Female, under 40 years old.

  • Bachelor’s or College degree in Import–Export, Logistics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.

  • At least 5 years of experience in import–export and logistics within the garment industry or service companies working with garment factories.

  • Experience handling garment export orders and working with forwarders, shipping lines, and customs brokers.

  • Good knowledge of Incoterms, import–export procedures, and logistics operations.

  • Good English communication skills.
