HSSE Director (Terminal)

Lead and oversee all Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) activities across the organization.

Develop, implement, and maintain HSSE policies, procedures, and systems in compliance with local laws and international standards.

Ensure safe working practices and strive for Zero Lost Time Injuries (LTI).

Conduct facility audits, identify hazards, and implement corrective measures.

Represent the company with government authorities on safety, security, and health matters.

Manage HSSE departmental budget and oversee accident/incident investigations and reporting.

Monitor HSSE compliance among contractors and third parties.

Design and deliver HSSE training programs, awareness campaigns, and emergency drills.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen, Gemba, and Lean tools.

Lead, mentor, and develop the HSSE team to build strong capability and performance.

Ensure emergency situations are managed in compliance with national and international regulations.

College or higher degree with certification in Safety, Security, and Quality Management.

Additional training in firefighting, police science, first aid, and CPR.

Proven HSSE management experience, preferably in port operations or similar industrial environments.

Minimum two years of managerial experience.

Strong knowledge of:

• Fire prevention and firefighting procedures.

• Hazardous materials handling and oil spill response.

• Workplace safety laws, inspections, investigations, and international regulations.

Excellent leadership, organizational, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

Fluency in Vietnamese and advanced communication skills in English.

General knowledge of terminal operations and security regulations.

Experience in handling dangerous goods and emergency situations
