Job Description
Our client is an FDI manufacturing company, currently looking for a Finance & Accounting Manager (Manufacturing, $2.000, ID 19623):
- Oversee and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with CAS, US GAAP, and Vietnamese statutory accounting standards.
- Act as the primary liaison with Chinese and US parent companies as well as external auditors to support consolidation and audit processes.
- Ensure strict compliance with Vietnamese regulations related to taxation, customs, foreign exchange, and other legal requirements.
- Lead and coordinate the preparation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Track budget execution, analyze variances, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Manage cash flow planning, banking relationships, and financing arrangements to maximize capital efficiency.
- Take full responsibility for tax planning, declarations, and payments while minimizing tax exposure and optimizing available incentives in compliance with regulations.
- Handle cross-border transactions, foreign currency risk management, and intercompany transfer pricing matters.
- Lead, coach, and develop the local finance team, including accounting and treasury personnel.
- Design, review, and continuously improve internal control frameworks and financial processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risks.
- Promote and implement digitalization and automation initiatives within the finance function.
- Partner with business units by providing financial analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Perform cost control analysis, profitability assessments, and investment/project feasibility evaluations.
- Carry out other tasks and temporary assignments as assigned by the General Manager or management teams.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a finance management role within a manufacturing or multinational environment.
- Proven practical experience in managing differences between CAS, US GAAP, and Vietnamese statutory accounting practices.
- Full professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English (both written and spoken).
