Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested manufacturing company, now looking for an EHS Supervisor (F&B Manufacturing, $1.100, ID 19579):
- Develop, update, and manage HSE-related policies and procedures in accordance with corporate/group objectives and applicable legal requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and control HSE risks associated with the company’s operations and processes.
- Oversee and verify compliance with HSE rules and guidelines among internal teams and relevant stakeholders.
- Design internal and external HSE training programs and work with concerned parties to implement them effectively.
- Monitor the management of regulated machinery, safety devices, and required Group 2 measuring equipment.
- Supervise contractor activities to ensure adherence to safety standards, social responsibility requirements, and sustainability commitments.
- Direct and support teams in managing fire prevention systems, firefighting tools, rescue and emergency response equipment, and maintain related documentation.
- Oversee chemical safety procedures for all departments and contractors operating on-site.
- Work jointly with stakeholders to investigate unsafe conditions, incidents, and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate the establishment and maintenance of emergency response teams.
- Ensure proper monitoring and compliance related to wastewater, air emissions, and Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS).
- Manage the complete waste-handling process, from initial generation to final disposal.
- Gather, maintain, and archive HSE records and data for internal use, corporate reporting, and submission to authorities.
- Keep policies updated based on new regulations and periodically assess compliance throughout the facility.
- Implement and maintain social responsibility and sustainability frameworks.
- Liaise with customers, government bodies, and other parties to address HSE-related inquiries or requirements.
- Propose improvements, initiatives, and ideas to enhance HSE performance and work efficiency.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the line manager.
Requirement
- Male/ Female; 35 - 45 years old.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Labor Safety, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or other relevant fields).
- 3–5 years of experience as an EHS Supervisor in a manufacturing environment; experience in similar industries is preferred.
- Knowledge of at least one social responsibility or sustainability standard (e.g., SMETA, RA-4C, SA8000, BSCI, WRAP, etc.) is preferred.
- Good at English.
