Job Description
Our client is a foreign-invested manufacturing company, now looking for a Development Quality Engineer (Manufacturing, $1500, ID-19643)
- Oversee the execution of the design and development process for thermal products.
- Track and manage the product APQP process, and supervise key product control points, including participation in drawing reviews, cosmetic specifications, QCP, and SOP development. Take responsibility for the design and development of inspection tools and test equipment, as well as evaluation activities such as FAI, CPK analysis, performance and reliability testing, sample and test summary reports, and FMEA reviews.
- Follow up on NPI project quality readiness and drive the achievement of project quality objectives.
- Analyze trial-run yield during the NPI stage and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate with customers to address new product quality issues, and effectively apply problem-solving tools such as Fishbone diagrams, 5 Why analysis, and 8D reports to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Manage and promote supplier quality improvement throughout the NPI development phase.
Requirement
- Male/Female, Age: 30–40
- University degree
- At least 6 years of experience in a similar position in manufacturing and assembly factories, thermal products
- Experience in quality control and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes
- Proficient in English
