Job Description

Our client is a foreign-invested company, now looking for a Deputy Lab Manager (Footwear, $1700, ID17159):
  • Oversee the sub-team within the lab department and collaborate with the lab manager to achieve testing objectives and complete team projects
  • Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition, safeguarding company assets
  • Organize and distribute test samples to (Senior) technicians, balance the workload among sub-team members, and ensure timely reporting in the LTS system.
  • Deliver training and evaluations for lab technicians to ensure proper test operations are maintained
  • Supervise the daily test activities of (Senior) lab technicians within the sub-team and promptly address any errors or issues
  • Review the daily test reports completed by (Senior) technicians to verify the accuracy of test results
  • Perform lab testing for critical samples, as well as for new test methods or equipment, prior to evaluating and authorizing (Senior) technicians for independent test operations and reporting.
  • Compile issues, functional plans, or practices related to LTS and recommend improvements to the lab manager or IT department for continuous enhancement
  • Support the lab manager in researching and upgrading testing equipment to ensure the lab remains a leader among T1, T2, and third-party laboratories
  • Assess new innovative materials, provide guidance, and identify relevant test items and requirements
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including the material team, business units (BUs), product development (PD), and the bottom team, to address testing-related matters such as tracking, scheduling, arranging tests, and updating reports or standards

Requirement

  • Male/Female, Under 50 Years Old
  • College degree or higher
  • At least 05 years of working in a footwear lab, including 3 years as the same position as assistant manager
  • Proficient in English
