Job description

• Oversee the entire business of the Company (including marketing & operations)
   
• Be directly responsible for the Profit and Loss of the Company
   
• Provide leadership, direction and strategies to meet operational, sales and profits targets
   
• Develop business plans and objectives; pro-actively engage in business development activities, lead and motivate an effective working team, improve and achieve performance targets and business growth
   
• Establish and maintain excellent relations with suppliers, customers and business partners
   
• Risk and feasibility studies on potential projects and investments
   
• Oversee the Company’s HSE, ISO and ISM matters
   
• This role reports to the senior management board and as such you will be required to present on company forecasts, budgets, margins, growth and KPIs.

• Degree holder
• Minimum 6-10 years logistics operational experience
• Experience in handling Project Cargoes and Heavy Lift equipment for the Oil & Gas industries is advantageous
• Proven operational skills preferably within heavy transport and large logistical international projects
• Specific experience of handling large-scale international shipping projects
• Strong customer and team focus and possess excellent level of initiative
• Ideally have a network of clients within these sectors
• High level of operational, logistics and front end sales experience
• Broad knowledge within specialised transport, warehousing and distribution
• Professional approach and demeanour
• Strong business acumen and negotiation skills
• Experience regarding margins, budgets and forecasts
• Possesses good oral and written English skills required to function effectively within an international project team and to communicate with Project Management, Contractors and Sub-contractors.
