Job description

• Organizes and controls the accounting system, ensuring accurate management of the company’s financial affairs.
• Provides the company with monthly financial and operating statements, allowing for the review of the company’s financial status.
• Develops and prepares a focused monthly analysis to track the progress of the company’s achievement of financial targets like sales revenue, EBITDA, NPAT and the control and reduction of costs.
• Disburses all funds for payroll, operating and capital expenses, and all other major disbursements on behalf of the company.
• Supervises external audit firms and tax preparations and submissions.
• Maintains consistent communication flow to ensure that all key issues are quickly understood, disseminated and acted upon.
• Ensures that all direct and indirect reports conduct business in accordance with the company’s objectives and policies.
• Ensures that all financial activities are carried out in compliance with regulations and laws of each respective host country.
• Prepares and submits the company’s annual corporate budget for the Vice Chairman’s review and approval.
• Monitors and ensures that all companies in the group meet their budgetary restrictions.
• Conducts occasional visits to subsidiary companies to build stronger ties with country financial management and staff and better understand local issues and situation.
• Reviews and implements the company’s credit policy for customers.
• Contributes to the formulation of corporate commercial policies and financial direction to ensure that the company’s business are transacted based on a sound financial and legal framework meeting international accounting standards.
• Supervises, guides and mentors direct reports. Where appropriate, grooms high potential staff through assignation to projects and closer monitoring.

1. Advance Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics. Ideally a certified public accountant.
2. Around 10 to 15 years of regional accounting and financial experience with some year of management experience. Preference for those with experience in the manufacturing.
3. Possesses excellent planning and decision-making capabilities. Possesses strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
4. Able to interact with people at all levels. Proactive and able to develop and drive initiatives.
